THE STORIES OF MYTH
LICENSING AVAILABLE THROUGH YOUTHPLAYS
The circus has come to town and Daisy Williams won’t be there. The young socialite knows she’ll stay in the same world she’s always known - one of security and predictability - and spending the night with a mysterious group of performers is not part of that story. But then she crosses paths with Myth - an eccentric but charming member of the circus with an extraordinary way of seeing the world - and is enchanted by her tales of magic and adventure. When Myth offers Daisy the chance to rewrite her own story, what will she be willing to sacrifice?
“[Myth stands out] because of its combination of well-crafted dialogue and characters and its story-telling ambition.” - Jonathan Dorf, Co-Founder of YouthPLAYS
“This is a whimsical play… It allows for an actor to “feel” these characters as they perform and for an audience to connect with these characters as they watch them.” - Lyric Stage of Boston First Page Festival Evaluators
